Stereophonics – Superman Lyrics 16 years ago
I think it's about a person (in this case a man) who thinks he's all that and mouths off to try and prove it, but really he's not what he claims he is at all. The "Superman on an aeroplane" is metaphorical for him claiming to be this "great" person, yet there are visual aspects which make this questionable. "You've got a mouth, but ain't got guts" further explains him being all talk but nothing else.

"Wear a mask wear an armoured suit" deals with the possibility that some of his claims seem to be true, but are pretty much fake otherwise, and he puts on this "all that" persona to look like he's strong, to hide the weak person he is on the inside, so nothing can get to him "with a gun that shoots"; clearly insecure, as that is his only way of doing so.

He probably has a partner in his life, being the equivalent of Lois Lane to Superman, possibly the perfect woman. And while he does have her (after managing to convince her with his fake personality), he would most definitely cheat behind her back without any qualms against it. The teenage blonde part possibly implies he wouldn't be above seducing a teenager, but I think it's mainly there to emphasize the fact of how low he is.

There's my analysis of it, might be right or wrong.
