This song is about a girl who cares very deeply for a guy. All she's ever know is being with this guy, but the realization hits her that she doesn't really know who she is without him. I also think she didn't treat him as well as she feels she should have, so she feels that she needs to leave him because she needs to figure out who she is and that someone else can treat him better. She doesn't want to do it, but she knows she has too. This is one of my favorite songs. Genius. |

First off, i LOVE this song. I think this song is about getting fed up with people that continually treat you bad. Saying that someimes you give them many chances to treat you good, sometimes you try to change them, thinking that they actually will change and that sometimes you bend over backwards for them all they do is treat you like crap and break you down, so you finally get sick of the way they treat you and sometimes the only thing you can do is leave. |
