This song is probably talking about religion. "There'll be no angels gracing these lines Just these stark words I find" as shown in the great dissappointment, Davey's probably atheist, so this is his way of saying that life's lines are graced, not with angels, but with death. You find the truth at the end, "stark words", But find no happiness,"No angels gracing these lines". "I cannot leave here, I cannot stay" I can't stand the way the world is, but I can't let go of my life. "Forever haunted, more than afraid" Being faced with the cruelty of the world and the nothingness of death terrifies me to no end. I cannot let go. "Asphyxiate on words I would say" I can't so easily pretend I'm not scared, I can't say what I normally would so quickly or without thought. "Forever darkened Now as I turn blue" I am burdened with my depression as I try to move on. I fall into sadness as I try to escape the darkness, to turn me depressed. "There are no flowers No not this time" Life has nothing for me, I have nothing to keep me. "There'll be no angels Gracing the lines" There's no heaven, nothing for me in death. "Just these stark words I find" I only see indecision, I can't decide life or death. "I'd show a smile But I'm too weak" I can't lie about my pain anymore, the burden is to hard to bear. "I'd share with you Could I only speak Just how much this hurts me" I can't speak of my pain; I can't comprehend my own pain, let alone tell you. I know, however, that this pain is too much to bear. Basically, the point is that the song seems to me like it's about suicide. |

Also, it could be a code for a gay love song Firstly, no gender specifications Secondly, in Japan they refer to homosexuals as Blue Sexuals Thirdly, "It's in the special way we fuck" meaning the do it abnormall, anal sex Just a thought, though, so please do NOT bash my idea!! |
