| Regina Spektor – The Flowers Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Maybe the books are the collective moments of her life and she's dissecting them, searching for a lingering feeling or meaning that she had so long ago its been lost. She's indignant that she could lose something that she once loved so much. Another hauntingly beautiful song by Regina. |

longing to return to the sometimes scary, but safe times of school. Missing the teddy bear you threw away and sent to "teddy bear heaven" when you were eleven. beautiful... |

I love how regina squishes together the "Lightness is less frightening than darkness is less frightening than light" part. Maybe lightness and darkness are not the two distinct things of sin and godliness as the bible says, but more similar to one another, both can be wonderful and scary. |

I just love this song, and everything from regina spektor. I wish her earlier work got more recognition, not that her new stuff isn't great as well. In reference to most of the argument that took up most of page 2, If you don't appreciate regina for the genius she is we don't wan't to hear it. It's understandable that some people have different taste in music but you don't need to diss Regina, and evoke an argument that get's more and more ridiculous as it goes along. sorry to rant but it was bugging me |

| Regina Spektor – Poor Little Rich Boy Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I've never found someone whacking a stick so intriguing before! This is my interpretation, so I could be completely off: It's portrays a young brainiac, probably in colledge, who has reached that inevitable stage where he think he knows everything about anything. He reads his books and observes other people and thinks he must have reached some chrystal clear view on life. His ego clouds his judgement of others and aleniates them from the world, but he's to convinced of his own intelligence to step down from the pillar. I guess he's just too young, and hasn't seen enough of the world yet to know any better ( I'm only thirteen so I guess I'm one to talk). regina, once again you amaze me! |

| Regina Spektor – Better Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I love how Regina's tunes rarely match the lyrics. By matching different vibes, it's like she's trying to say that life is just a big mushpot of emotions. You can find joy in every sad thing you feel, or you can discover heartbreak in many happy things, but no matter what, it's always okay to feel what you feel Love this song, it's brilliant! |
