I agree with BeccaxLove... he is leaving her... "too late I'M sure...and lonely...... for heaven sake I know you're sorry"...At the end he says "I can't forget you I know you want me to want you I want to ... but I CAN'T FORGIVE YOU, so when this is over don't blow your cover." The song is about how he would have given anything for this girl and would give anything to have her back the way it was--but he can't. It's a song about how sometimes no matter how much you love a person certain acts are unforgivable and you have to walk away--no matter how much it hurts you to do so.

Cassie Bernall did die in the columbine shootings--but she was not asked if she believed in God... another girl was, and she was not shot. However a few people in the library mistook Cassie for Valeen Schnurr, the other girl; even though when asked later by investigators where she was sitting they pointed to where Schnurr was located. You're right... not with Cassie at least; Valeen Schnurr was asked but not shot and killed (as stated in the above post)... people confused Schnurr for Cassie because of their similarities... but there was a girl in the library of columbine who was asked if she believed in god; many people in the library confirmed it as did Schnurr herself. |

Ironically it was NOT cassie bernall who was asked that. It's true Cassie bernall was killed in the columbine shootings; but they actually asked a girl named Valeen Schnurr... who was not shot and lived. She told investigators that they had asked her and there were many who confirmed her story. She and cassie looked similar and had similar voices and the people who said that Cassie was the one who was asked if she believed in god they told investigators and pointed on a map of the library to where Valeen was sitting; mistaking her for Cassie. Still a kick-ass song though. I love it
