| Bob Dylan – Like a Rolling Stone Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It baffles me how Bob Dylan can take such complex ideas and put them into these well written poems and music more simply. This is possibly my favorite of his. | |
| Bob Dylan – Tangled Up in Blue Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I don't if someone has already mentioned this, but I think that "tangled up in blue" means being lost in loneliness and sorrow. "Like a bird that flew tangled up in blue" that is referring to the sky though as well as sorrow. Did he write the book of poems? I love the line "the past was close behind" What a great song musically and poetically. |

| Vashti Bunyan – Timothy Grub Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| It definitely has themes of childhood and the simple things in life. They 'wave the cities goodbye' and just want to live in the countryside. | |
| Crash Test Dummies – God Shuffled His Feet Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I think it's almost poking fun at the ideas of God, that not even he can answer all the questions in life. "God shuffled his feet and glanced around, at them" | |
| Ben Sollee – Panning For Gold Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
It is actually about Ben Sollee's grandparents both suffering from Dementia, he simply used the character of God in place of them. Beautiful :] |
