Ran through a personal situation myself, tried to help someone out as they would have been left on the streets if I didn't shelter them. They ended up screwing me so hard that both of us became homeless after a few months but luckily I had a back up plan. I'm done talking with them and realized whom my real friends are and have a colder stance on those whom now try to enter my life for fear of being back stabbed. A bit too paranoid but that's just how life goes. Always keep your 3rd eye open and watch for those who will screw you in the end. Great song and very deep lyrics. Loving the heaviness to the song and the guest vocals by the lead singer of Miss May I. This is not your average electronic/post-hardcore band trying to be a scene band cause I believe these guys are for real about what music really is. |

From what Im understanding, this song is about people who talk shit about things that they never experienced or think what they believe in is right without any proof. Its all about those people who are slaves to society, the sheep who follow those who think everything is cool because the next guy believes in it. He really should take the words slave and replace them with sheep. The weak minded people who think their justified. |

Its really about the cops being way too egotistical and thinking they are justified in their power trip. Its all in the song, its very easily interpreted. Most police force think they can push the little guy down and use physical control for anything to anyone. The band is just trying to express the corruption of police, trust me I know all about that. The zero tolerance thing means that they don't take crap from anyone and don't care about anything. To also top it off, you are innocent until proven guilty so if your jailed for anything your going on your own free will, think about it, it makes perfect sense. |
