i think this song is about a relationship where at first they loved each other SO much. and things have changed and now he isnt in love with her anymore, but she stills loves him so much. i think that shes trying to do everything to keep him... "what do i gotta do, what do i gotta to keep you, what do i gotta do to keep you from doing this to me." i think she is holding onto a love where she knows theres nothing in it anymore. she doesnt know what to do... leave him or keep holding onto to him... because either way her heart is going to hurt. its weird... going through this right now. i love her voice. makes me cry. music video is sad too. :( |

i agree. i watched the music video and think its about a girl who is with a guy who is with someone else. shes telling him at the end, "dont say victim, dont say anything," like she doesnt care what he has to say about the situation, she just wants to be happy. im kind of stricken... like, is he leaving her, or is she staying with him, even though hes involved? she keeps saying even if it hurts her, even if it means shell have a breakdown, even if it means that there will be pain from others that she causes, she just wants to do what she thinks will make her happy. i love the song though. it is tres belle. she sounds amazing in it... |

hands down.... COMPLETELY about God. hes talking about this girl whos into her religion and has strength because of how devoted she is. hes talking about wishing he could be like her in her beliefs. she stays true to what she knows and who she believes she is, and thats why she can "lock her knees and stand straight up" when the "sky is crashing down." thats why hes saying maybe i need to listen more carefully. AND its named Sundays... the Sabbath day? its for sure about religion. lovelovelove this song. |

somehow, i think it has to do with death. i dont think its just a we dont mesh great so im leaving song. i think shes dying and trying to tell him, shes leaving now so that he can be happy. because she does love him, its just that things wont work for their happily ever after. i think after watching the music video, i saw alot of reference to death. shes either wearing all black or some form of white. also, some insturments are playing without anyone behind them... and shes holding the flower of death in the video. i think the line, "we were never meant for do or die." also shes talking about finding another. i think its her dying is what causes his pain and she wants him to be with someone who he can have happiness with that lasts. . . thats just my thoughts. |

| this song is definitely about religion. its titled "sundays" i think the reference about the girl is just a part that was added in, about how she has strength through her religion. its about finding god... because in the end hes talking about how he finally found the strength she was talking about. | |

i dont think its forget about him, more so what he has done to that person. it sounds sort of bittersweet to me... "You are calm and reposed, let your beauty unfold... you are second hand smoke...You are the smell before rain, you are the blood in my veins." it sort of semi sounds like hes pissed about how shes dealing with it all, but he just wishes she would forget... after all, shes the blood in his veins. |
