| Joanna Newsom – Bridges and Balloons Lyrics

I think the song is about two, misunderstood children playing and creating an imaginary world together. The first part of the song, "We sailed away on a winter's day with fate as malleable as clay.." is very nostalgic, it's a very romantic idea. As the song progresses it all because very imaginative and the chorus "O it was a funny little thing" creates a "silly" feeling, a memory to look back on and chuckle about. It was a plan whose conclusion could not be determined, anything could happen - that's what the fun of it was. |

| Suzanne Vega – Tom's Diner Lyrics

Hey Knowitall - It's actually called Tom's Restaurant on 112th and Broadway in NYC. She used to eat there on her way to work in the mornings when she wasn't even a singer/songwriter and didn't write the song until many years later, using the restaurant as her inspiration. And it's not like DNA totally stole the song, they added the back beats and sent it to her and she liked it. So she had it released. |

| NOFX – Creeping Out Sara Lyrics

I love this song; classic NOFX humor.
I'm going to go on a whim here and saying he's mocking Sara (from Tegan & Sara (the sister band, they're both lesbians)) for turning him down.
This song is fabulous though; it's a fun summer song to drive to. |
