As well as rocking from wall to wall and being one of my favourite songs, I think this song shows a sly contempt for materialism as a form of comfort - indeed, the line "Now cry yourself to sleep / Upon your king size bed with silk sheets" is a perfect example. |

I think this excellent piece of music can be interpreted as a study in grief, from the opening shock and denial to the anger and finally the beautiful acceptance by the end. But whatever it is, 'Yasmin The Light' is a sensational song. |
