i understand the song is about alex's brother. but if you listen to it there could also be other meanings to it. i dunno. when i listen to it, to me it's about a breakup. i guess that's my way of relating to it. "Don't let yourself Get in over your head," he said as in, don't get in over your head about the relationship. but they did anyways. Dead, like a candle you burned out Spill the wax over the spaces as in, the relationship is dead. they both changed. doesn't work anymore. Don't you realize You brought this family a world of pain? Can't you see there could have been A happy ending we let go? the relationship and breakup made a family suffer because maybe they were close. there could have been a happily ever after ending, but they didn't survive. just saying that i understand fully what the song is written about, but it could have other meanings. :) great song. amazing band. ♥ |

A close call would have ended up with the carriage Lets call it extra lets call it why i always thought it was "let's call it x, no let's just call it y" because i was thinking, like, in referance to the carriage. a close call would have ended up in them having a kid, x and y being male for female like chromosomes. but then again i'm not too smart so maybe not, lol. just thought i'd add my input. :) |
