My thesis: bittersweet...it's sweet but it's bitter. Good & evil are in the eye of the beholder...which is simply based on perception. My references listed below on good & evil are intended to relate to the defined reasoning behind right & wrong. Lastly, this is just my delusion. Evils everywhere it always has been we thrive on it as living creatures the women are just as bad and if anything putting salt into the wound try to change it, try to be different, you get hurt (or maybe killed in some context) I'm no better I'm just as guilty I'm trippin I'm intoxicated Everything I am is assimilated to moral dilemmas Try to help the world, they're going in circles repeating and sinking Try to show myself and be something better its just life there are no rules only consequences fate is everywhere it's only a matter of time No way this... can't be true I'm trippin I'm intoxicated Everything I am is assimilated to moral dilemmas Now that I know, let's change it and become more this is life... this is whatever I want although the weight is unbearable |

Here's what I interpreted: He is struggling with his conscience/personality. While he lives socially, normally, friendly...something happens and he finds himself slipping into a state of mind where a part of himself is telling him ...lyrics go here... it's similar to the demon on the shoulder. the last four statements are the moments of realization and commitment. |

My first post on these forums and I get to break in this song! I've liked this song since I was a kid. It reminds me of loving and wanting a certain woman, and willing to sacrifice everything for her, but at the same time not wanting to be just some toy to her if she doesn't feel the same. I guess it kind of sounds like some crazy hot street girl he can't control though if you read it... Anyway good song! |
