Amen. Hopefully I'm not too naive in thinking the exposure will generate record sales for the band, so maybe there's a silver lining. Here in the States, the equivalent of this travesty for me was when an embarrassingly HORRIBLE cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" was played on the teenybopper show "The O.C." VOMIT! It's a small comfort to remember that the record they made is just that, a RECORD, and can remain pure for you regardless of what anyone else does with it. |

| Usually the record label owns the rights to the song, which means they can sell it to whoever they want, regardless of the band's feelings, so who knows what BFB thinks about it. Bands have to make money, though. They don't survive simply by being sincere. | |
