| Well I agree with most of the comments above. And I want to add my quite personal interpretation/memory. My first love had broke up with his boyfriend who actually hurted her also in a physical way(wth?). He hit her not just a once. So I had personal connection to the word 'violence' in the chorus. She was my first love, before that guy we had had quite complicated past for about 4 years. So there is my another personal connection "you may be a sinner but your innocence is mine" - we lost our virginity with each other (yeah i know it's not only about the physical side bout you know:) word 'innocence' quite fits). I still love her and my attitude is exactly as it is said in this song. That's my personal meaning but I think it really fits to those you posted. | |

She sings about the way he makes her feel while they're together, they spend the night and 4 me is something like that she's waking up by his side, he's still asleep and she's tryin to get what's happen next. She was tryin so many times to throw his out of her life but she failed, he got her everytime he wants, and now the sun comes up and she's thinking if he's gonna let her down again using her one more time. And she also know that he's not so spoiled, he got some special feelings(probably not love) about her but he's afraid of it and he somehow feels so bad after they spend night together cause he's not sure about his feelings and he's afraid of giving them a chance outside the bed. IMO lyrics of GA songs doesnt have straight meaning at the first sight so i interpreted it in my own way a long time ago and now even if i'd be sure that the main message is so remote i wont change my mind xD So, this song is for me about a girl who is in some kind sexually used by the man that she totally loves and he of course doesnt love her back and somehow he decided to take advantage of her love while they are somewhere alone and he became so focused on her body and his desire and he don't get any attention to her deep love. They are some kind of friends they know each other since they've been kids, they're talking but he doesnt even try to listen and he's doing everything to seduce her but in that very special way which would make him innocent in the morning(hard 4 me to ilustrate it). But she knows him a lot and she know about every his step just like women have, she feels it and he thinks that he's got control but he's not. His human nature made him do this. And then, after all, the next day(week, month) comes they both know that it wasn't good idea so he's back into his life, it was some kind of one night stand for him, while she must get the responsibility for that night, she feels like a bitch, she feel used, she so f**** hates him, but after all she loves him so much more cause she got that feeling of his body every night she sleeps alone. But somehow she's so strong and she try to tell herself that she won't let him do stuff like, she's so sure about her strenght and hate and the feeling of being used. Until the next time...
