| My interpretation of 37 stitches is from the view of a an idividual, who can really say if it is man, woman or child, has disappointed another individual. But as it does seem, I would think it is a man in a relationship with a woman, and it very well could be the act of infidelity that has occurred. For whatever the situation is he knows he has wronged someone very important to him. Have you ever just walked along somberly and kind of drag and kick your feet? With your head hung?The main character is expecting to be in trouble. he is wanting her to say something, anything. he has hurt her and he KNOWS it and he knows the end is here and there is no need to fight. She was his taste of heaven and ultimately the wrong doing that was committed was her hell. I am thinking that the sweet whistle of the piper was the temptation involved, another woman perhaps is the wrong hand that was guiding? His head is hung low in shame. Because there is no proof of a "dark side of the sun" , he realizes that she is the one and he has blown it. forever. He has lost someone and it is what it is...OVER. | |
