wow .. lol i probably sound like an idiot for this, but i didnt really KNOW this was about halo.. i mean, a couple friends told me about it at school, like the covenant, spartans, the intro to the song, but you know, i just thought it was just like a coincidence.. great to have that cleared up.. by far one of the best songs of their career.. |

uhm, .. no fucking thank YOU, thrwmyhrtawy. this is an awesome song.. it goes to show that theyre not the same as every other post-hardcore band.. they have variety, which is a good thing.. i reckon this could possibly be about .. how they constantly have to do the same shows over and over again, ''I'm creeping my way out so you can see me I'm crawling my way around a thousand cities'' and how the living conditions are really terrible [constant bad food, bad sleeping patterns, hangovers,etc..], ''I'm living my life in this hell. Now I'm crawling away 'cause the stress has killed me I feel like I fell from a ten story building'' ''cut it out of my mouth, put my tongue on a pole'' could refer to how he [Craig] is constantly, singing the same [awesome] things over and over again.. ''Take the air from my lungs, take my heart from my soul.'', discusses how tiring performing is when constantly done day after day after day... anyway, thats my take on it.. |
