one explanation of "Cygnus" is that the black hole itself was the one talking I have memory and awareness But I have no shape or form As a disembodied spirit I am dead and yet unborn I have passed into olympus As was told in tales of old To the city of immortals Marble white and purest gold this always struck me as Cygnus the Black Hole describing himself. Also i think that the force of a black hole could stop all of the fighting on earth, and the existence and pure power of one could possibly baffle a greek god? explanations aside, this song is absolutely awesome, beautiful lyrics, in my opinion better than 2112. |
