I think the song had to do with a relationship. February holding a lot of significance, oddly enough the month means a lot to me too. It seems something bad happened, referring to "And I could care less if I deserve this, I will never survive the sting inflicted. " The following parts seem to be about how hes giving up on holding any meaning to sexual actions. Also, he then speaks about a life he would once like "All the trees, all the birds, and this thing called life.) (I’d stake it all for forty acres and a trophy wife.) (Dust gathers on the books that contain our past,) (and we’re but peons in a circuit built by time to last.) ". The song is deep. Being able to relate just makes it 1000x better. February is a ruiner. |
