this song is a hit. my dad use to come up and sing to me when i was little right before i would go to sleep. he would always be drunk coming home from the bar and he would sing this song to me and strangers in the night. Whenever i hear this song, usually when I'm out at a bar, I always think back to my childhood and how my dad probably was going through his mid age crisis and going out all the time drinking and how he just wanted to be young again and was looking for someone when he was out and how the music set the mood. So, whenever I'm out and I hear this song, I feel the magic. |

I think this song is absolutely incredible. My thoughts on the meaning of it is that it's about this guy who is in love with this girl who loves him as well but puts a wall put because she's had her heart broken before. And, he just wants all of her forever but she's holding back so much. He doesn't want to give up but, he's feeling hopeless and if she doesn't show how she feels, he will have to walk in the cold November Rain. He knows nothing lasts forever but, he wants to hold onto this feeling because it feels so right. He's madly in love. He's feeling all these different crazy feelings. |
