I like your idea about the Tree of Good and Evil. I like that line a lot about chopping the tree down to make white picket fences. I am not a super religious person, nor do I really enjoy music with a heap of religion thrown in (just an opinion), but this idea of wrecking the world created to just conform and be everyone else is very cool. The imagery is there. I love Regina. Her lyrics always keep me interested. I never really know where she's going with them. :) |

I agree with jennchilada, I love that line: "and today, you accidentally called me baby.." This is a great song for the in-between of friendship to relationship. It's just a pretty song. |

Corbeau is a Raven. I think that might add to the association with the darker and more somber tones in the song. Her references to a freedom could be in relation to the freedom that comes with flying. But also something tying her down from opening her wings. Thanks for the rough translation. My French isn't quite perfect yet. I really love her sound. This song is gently beautiful. |
