| actually, this song is talking about how on a race track, you only turn left, the circle goes counterclockwise so you are never turning right. So its a metaphore for life, if you only do things the way your supposed to, you only turn left, but if you turn right, then you will experiance things you otherwise wouldnt have and these things may be better in the long run. in the book that comes in the CD, Nick wrote " the inspiration for this song came by way of sitting one day at the piano and writing my first song through use of only the black keys. It was then that i realized the simplicity of black and white versus the noise that is brought on by color." this is basically saying that you dont need so much noise/color/extras to appreciate the good things in life. sometimes simple is best. |

Hahahahahaha i love this! i know its bashing Taylor, and i'm pretty sure Miley and Selena too but it's pure genius! The line " i'm done with superstars and all the tears on her guitar"- definitely about Taylor (Teardrops on my guitar) and also, the line "Now I've got some enemies,And they're all friends suddenly,BFFs eternally" is im guessing about Miley and Selena because they had a public feud after Nick started dating Selena and it was team Miley and Mandy vs. team Selena and Demi. but now Miley and Selena are good friends... i think its about time the Jonas Brothers wrote songs that reflect their personal lives. I think the songs are better when they have feeling in them, something most JoBro songs dont have with the exception of A Little Bit Longer |
