Cute song=D It's (in my opinion) about two things: A) The holidays are coming up and he just dumped/GOT dumped by his girl. or B) He is pretty lonely and wants a girl to love and be his significant other. The (A) theory sounds more specifically correct because his lyrics say: 30 days till christmas and all I know (Holidays coming up..duh) Is I'm not quite ready to let go of this past year (He misses the memories) I have so much to show ('') One more month and all I need (One more month until the year is over; Is a sign from you, that you think of me &&he just wants to know if she still loves him) If you don't, then please just say so (He really wants to know what she thinks; Cause all I do, is think of you because no matter what, she's always on his mind.) |

Also...the lead singer was addicted to drugs. As much as he tries to quit;; the addiction tears him down and ultimately defeats him (AKA he's defeating himself). The "Somebody help me from this nightmare.." is saying that he feels that his life in general is a horrible dream that he wishes he could escape, but this is reality. He wants to escape his own shadow, but no matter what, the past always follows. |

Easy.Basically it's along the lines of: This guy did something wrong and regrets it(or is going to do something wrong). You could say with this song that he's venting. The animal he sings about is his other personality that he just wishes he could control/get rid of whether he's a drunk, broke up with someone he loved, stole something, murdered someone or even possibly he has multiple personalities or bipolar disease. He's tired of hurting the people around him, and ultimately himself. He wants help to escape from the hell/animal or tame his "dark side" so he can control it rather than bow down to it. |

This, in my opinion, is about how a guy and a girl started a relationship. He told her something like "I'm not really who you think I am", or "You're going to get hurt" (What did you expect from me?) She didn't buy it because she loved him and thought she could change him. After a while, he fucks her over(calling all cars we've got another victim) and now he kind of feels bad, but he told her from the start that she would be hurt eventually. Now all he wants her to do is forget his name and move on to find someone who won't screw her over. (So will you scatter my ashes where they won't be found? I kept my word when I swore that I would let you down. And now that I'm gone. Try to forget me and just move on) |
