| You Say Party! We Say Die! – Opportunity Lyrics

Awesome song. I'm guessing it means something about not letting opportunity slip away, the whole "her babies" thing could mean success. Or it could mean nothing at all and simply be an amazing tune! |

I'd say it's about the end Bush Adminstration, with George W being the joker in the pack. The "crock of shit we refuse to be fed" being everything America has done over the past 9-10 years. |

Pretty sure that "Why is it that so many companies don't deserve us, and can't get rid of us?" is "Why is it that so many companies don't deserve us, end up ruling us?". And the final line is "Opportunistic oppression". |

Hah, now that I listen to it and can definitely tell it's "How fucking cute", brilliant lyric. |

This is a great opening to the album, it's like everything that the album is being laid out. The "We must unite" repeated line and in different languages is chilling to me, it reminded that despite differences in language, colour, race, religion and beliefs, every one else on the planet is the same as me, just a human trying to live his/her life. |

Yeah, sounds like "wars" to me too. It'd make more sense too considering the wars in the Middle East are often called that too because of the lack of public support in the nation. Or anywhere for that matter. |

Yeah the "No way to go" line definitely sounds like "This is no white abode". First of all it's obviously a reference to Sorry, You're Not A Winner (since the themes of the album continue on from Take To The Skies, just with less aliens, like Skies was the invasion, Common Dreads is the human reaction. Or something) and the song is about people railing against the government and modern life, with White abode being a ideal world and the "house"/world not being that way. |

Sounds to me like a description of my early/mid teens, just switch the names and you'd pretty much have a documentary about how me and my friends spent weekends and summers.
Great sounding track, can't wait to hear the new album live. |

First of all, fucking awesome tune. Can't wait to see them live again, hopefully they'll get down to the Mids soon.
I think this song has two meanings. The juggernaut is two things: the last generation (post WW2 baby boomers) and the current generation, or at least ES' generation (Late 80's/90's) and the conflict that seems to be happening between them in Britain. The last generation have fucked the country up over the past fifty years and we're going to be left to deal with it, but we're never given the chance ("But i'm not saying that we could do better, But given the chance we try") to shine through because the last juggernaut doesn't want to lose it's position and doesn't trust the new Juggernaut. |
