| Not to mention, they're a Christian band. Over half of their songs have to do with Christianity and Scripture. I don't think they would be talking about some normal man. | |

Personally, I think this is about the Antichrist. The Antichrist will have countless followers, believers, and friends. People will say HE is the Messiah and our savior. Some will deny him, claiming him to be a liar because the Bible says he will be the father of lies. And while he will promise us so much, he will do little and let us all down. He will bring down all his believers, friends, and followers. He will make them fall on his name. He will take them away from God and salvation and bring them towards destruction. All of those who believed in him and befriended him will find it out once The End (the Rapture) occurs. They will see him for who he really was, a liar and a disaster. Obviously, the chorus in the background are his followers. The single voice is the Antichrist himself. |

Rated 0 rate down rate up Honestly, I think it is about God. & I disagree with you PorcelainXombie. "Like the knife you stuck into my back" doesn't have to be a symbol of betrayal in this song. It could mean that God did something in his life to punish him, hurt him and show him he needs to turn back to him and "pick up the pieces". It could've been about a punishment from God he had to face that finally woke him and and made him think he needs to start all over. A Christian guy in a Christian band would not talk about a girl being his "home". |
