i might be the only one seeing it as this (cuz im goin through it) but i think this song has something top do with a guy who loves a girl who has left him and he is so empty inside he just wants to die "emptiness has darkend my eyes as i hopelessly beg for my life to end" if it was about beign in war why would he want his life to end? he wants her to see hes the only guy who will care for her like she needs, he will fight to care for her unilike anyone else will... "I wish I could make you see, I wish I could make you see through the pain through the end, I wish I could make you see the greater purpose that I have to serve...no one else will fight...no one else will fight...so I must" and the first verse says it all about how this girl is his everythgin but he cant have her now. |

i love this song its so powerful in feeling and the words. the way i see it is a guy who loves a girl and has such strong feelings that when she has someone new he basicaly is on a kill rage going crazy. if he cant have her nobody can. when u love some new guy...dont u wanna kill him too?! |

they allways say and its ture; song sound so much better when they mean something to you. the meaning of this song is about a couple who had it great that split up somehow ("and now im left with nothing", "i remember every look upon your face") and they both relize it isnt right and its so much better when they were together/they need eachother ("two is better then one") discribes me and my gf =] broke up a few weeks ago and as of last night are together again this song came on from shuffle and before it didnt mean much.. but now it means alot so decided to share on here haha |

i kinda interpreted the entire song but i dont wana write that much... but my fav part is this ............. I got a closet filled up to the brim With the ghosts of my past and the skeletons And I don't know why You'd even try But I won't lie You caught me off guard Now I'm running and screaming I feel like a hero and you are my heroine... this part is so good cuz his "closet" means his past and the "ghosts" are his fears from the past experiences happening again and the "skeletons" are the past relationships that are now dead... and now this might be just me but the heroine part i thought could accually be meaning the drug... "he feels like a hero" and a hero can need nothign but themsleves but shes now his heroine "meanign the drug" that he finds he needs to keep going |
