The main line and the chorus are actually from an overheard argument in a Dublin nightclub I think.. I heard one of them heard two women arguing, and one said "Lend me your face.. I'll bust it up" Kind of funny how they turned it into a song but classic FLApes style.. |

Wow, can't believe i'm the first person to comment.. It's an amazing song, an interesting point is that the original recording doesn't include the second verse, so i'm guessing MayKay was still going out with the guy, and she added in the 2nd verse after they split. It's really a good description of feelings towards an ex. I like the randomness of the last bit too, and Pockets is a big Cobra Kai fan (the bad guys from the Karate Kid) so i'd guess that was his influence.. It's one of my fav FLApes songs, it has the meaning they can express in the first half, and the fun chaotic element in the second, a great song. |
