You have to understand that Aesop is sarcastic in many of his lines. The times in this song that it sounds like he is praising TV, is really just him giving a perspective of our whole society. |

He is obviously critising tv and admitting that while it is complete shit, he is aslave to it as well. "I taste it everyday and bathe inside the conqequences."- Pretty much sums it up. |

This song is insanly dope. I dont see how it doesn't have more people working toward the meaning. (well on this website anyway.) But To me it kind of sounds like a personal story of aesop's that he would have to explain to us for us to understand. Mainly because of the chorus does it seem personal. It's hard to decipher lyrics that are formulated in Aesop Rock's head......Who knows what the fuck is going on in there. |

Have you ever looked outside of the fact that it being against the grain of popularity isn't the only reason it is liked? If you say Aesop Rock doesn't have depth and meaning, you obviously havn't studied it enough. It has a lot of meaning, but to the average listener who stops listening at daylight or even the None Shall Pass album, they never get to understand his reacurent themes and metaphors that are prevelent in his earlier stuff. |

To me this song definetly is just a collaboration of Aesop Rock's LCD trips. He probably did a free write while on LCD. I dont think anyone can really make sence of any of it expecially the last verse. Since the order of his words are in L-S-D, it would be extremely difficult to integrate a strong meaning while staying consistant with the writing sceme. But then again, i guess you can never cut Aesop short. |

To me it sounds like.
"I'm only one servent makin' one hell of a diversion.
and
"And if the masses have agreed to split the seed than let it bleed."
I am almost sure of both of those. |
