This song is so beautiful and sad. I think others are right in that it is about a fight/breakup, but I feel that it is larger than not being able to admit a mistake. "Cause I held on to my way tightly" The above line evokes a sense of his unwillingness to listen/change over a long period of time (perhaps their entire relationship). The result is their ungodly hour. |
