"how many times" in my opinion refers to how many times a guy/girl's partner cheated, now he/she can't look the other in the eye, because he/she is disgusted. "breath me" and "taste me" i think refers to the person wanting the cheater to keep thinking of him/her and continue to feel bad about what they've done. they want their revenge. the song is clearly not about steve. i don't really think it's about anyone in particular. |
