Great great great fucking song. First Bright Eyes song I've ever heard, and I loved it. The sound is just so dark you can really get a feel from it. I always pictured lovers meeting up in dark alleys behind bars and such. |

Shit, I love the sound of this song. The build up throughout the whole song gets me going. The beginning "Arrive open your eyes, I'm freeing you," is one of my top favorite intros to a song ..Anthony's voice is amazing. |

I feel like this song could be about two people up together in bed all through the night making love, and not wanting it to be morning for the sake of having to end the nights festivities, but at the same time happy for the morning (light) because it starts a new day for them to be together and do other things.. I don't know, maybe that doesn't fit, but this is indeed a trippy song to listen to high. |

i couldn't listen through this song the first time i heard it because I was feeling so many emotions. I think this song is beautiful and heartbreaking. When I first heard this song I thought it was about someone not being able to cope with a break up and is having a hard time getting over that person. Possibly one person in the relationship believes that they are really meant to be together, but the other thinks that is ridiculous because they've been having so many problems. |
