i disagree. i thing its a song that really shows the ability that stone temple pilots have in having completly different songs. i also like it because it also helps us figure out what kind of band they are. i tells us that the singer is verypowerful in singing but can also be calm, that the guitar can be technical and distorted and that the drums can be heavy but also have a very bosa nova beat. so dont bash the song because you dont like it. |

im not quite sure, but i think t has something to do with how hes saying is that who ever hes talking to is not in control and that they arent what they say they are... kinda like a bully. but this song is the reason that i fell in love with the foo fighters. now im one of their biggedt fans |

the part where it says, "with odds like that we were bound to fail" is pretty much saying that the odds were against them but they managed to come out on top. its a really amazing song |
