I think it's about a relationship that kind of drifted apart, "We're as far as far can be" maybe because of the girl cheating so the guy takes revenge and hurts her, or shows her what she did. "In trying to make you see my point I'll bury it deep into your chest" And she finally regrets everything, as the guy moves on and doesn't care anymore. "Now the room is empty, and so are our lives." I'm not really sure though, that's just a guess. |

I think of it as either a war, zombies, or something you're fighting against. I agree, the ending is the best part, starting with "And we march on, leaving trails of hope behind us" This song is what got me into Vanna. |
