first heard this song on a CD of the Howard Stern Show from the week of 9/11. This was played on WBCN, Boston right before his show started on 9/12, still trying to make sense of all the mayhem and tragedy. just fitted the mood really well. |

in addition to what's been said above about relationships etc I consider this song to be Simple Minds "Sign o The Times". They'd done a cover of the Prince song a couple of years before this and I think they are attempting something similar here. |
