| i disagree with ya marc4497. if you truely are a dave fan and you have listened to any of the songs that he has wrote, or most that he has covered even, they truel have a respect toward God and Jesus in some way. have you ever ask yourself why you are a 100 % aithiest? i think that dave does some of the things he does purley for a show. i mean come on thats why sites like these exist. | |

| i read in an interview this morning that he doesnt like to talk about lyrics because he likes to keep it open.... i totally agree. nothing raises more question than dave matthews lyrics. all in all i think he is a lyrical genius. i just kinda get tired of the dave hates God thing, when that would be close to impossible listening to his lyrics. but like he said he likes to keep it open...he plays with our mind and makes us want more! | |

I hate to just blow off what most people think....ya know how dave hates God, but i think its a bit of a show. if you truely listen to every lyric he has wrote it Jesus or God, its not i hate you. i feel a bit of respect somewhat... i believe this song has alot to do with him wanting to believe. you guys i think hit it head on with his sis, but i think that when he says "baby when i get home help me pick up the pieces hammer in the final nail i want to believe in Jesus" that he has decided he wants to believe. no more questioning it? |
