I really think this song is about depression. Just read the lyrics and everything could relate to depression. Getting up could mean getting happy again. Maybe "What would I want? Sky" is referring to being up like the sky and just wanting to be happy again. I've been relating to the song like this recently and It makes sense to me. |

For me it sounds like it could be about life and afterlife. The beginning talks about how we are limited in life and live in the valley of the walls. I think the chorus is about how people will think they understand life but they don't. Then the second verse talks about how people try to be successful in life, but life isn't everything. The sheep that died is now able to fly and do things that we cannot do in our cursed earth. Then I think the next part is about people wondering what death is like, and if it is possible to do what we really want to do, fly, in the afterlife. But the end is telling people don't try to see what the afterlife is like unless you are ready to never come back to our life as is it now. So maybe it's saying don't attempt suicide unless you are really going/ready to die, because we really don't know what life would be after death.
I could be wrong because this is just my opinion. |

I like the feel to this song. The first half seems dark and mysterious, like there is a question that everyone is trying to solve. Then the second half is much more lively and energetic. Almost like someone has a solution to the problem. I love the second half of this song so much. |
