I experienced this kind of situation, not with a boyfriend, but with a best friend. He was the one who made my day brighter, he always called when he got the chance, and he was always there for me to call. But then this led to that, and I'm not even sure why we don't really talk anymore.. "It was you and me against the world And you promised me forever more Was it something that I said? Was it something that I did? 'Cause I gotta know What made me unbeautiful" The chorus is EXACTLY what I'm feeling.. We were so tight, and I told him how I was scared of losing him, so he promised to be there forever. And now we never even talk, and it's got me wondering if it was something that I did..seriously.. what made me unbeautiful. Many people can relate to this song in different ways, but one thing that's common is that we're all missing someone whose further away now that they were before. And btw, Lesley Roy did beautifully in this song. If it was sung by someone else other than her, then it wouldn't be that affective. Her voice just puts this certain something into it =] |
