Whether on purpose or not, the repetition helps strengthen the lyrics, because the lyrics talk about all of the "last times" in a relationship, but it never being the actual last time. the repetition enforces this, because like the way the relationship is going, by repeating the breaking up, and then "making up" the song repeats the line. |
