| Britney Spears – Early Mornin' Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"I was shaking my ass in the streets this morning Just walked in and it's early morning BUMP BUMP till the break of dawning And it don't stop till the early morning Passed out on the couch I'm yawning Just walked in and it's early morning BUMP BUMP till the break of dawning It don't stop till the early morning" This means: She was out n' about, partying... And now, wtf, its the a.m. Basically BUMP BUMP refers to a bump of cocaine (or meth or whatever...); most cokeheads will do bumps throughout the night until afterhours, up until "early mornin'" -- TRY TO TIE THIS IN WITH LYRICS FROM 1.) Circus's Blur lyrics 2.) the lyrics from In the Zone's The Hook Up, where she sings "blow! blow! blow!" in the very beginning (blow is synonym for cocaine a well) & finally 3.) the very title of her album "Blackout" is notorious for her (alleged) history of drug use. |

| Beyoncé – Upgrade U Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I'd like to know what "you know I used to beat that block: Now I be's the block" means... does anyone wanna interpret it for me? Because then Beyonce goes on in [verse 1:] "I hear you be the block But I'm the lights that keep the streets on"... So I understand what Beyonce is saying, I don't get what Jay-Z's lyrics mean??? Because it sounds so badass when he says it... Sounds really creative, just wish i knew what it meant. peace... |
