Like Akaneon pointed out, this song is about Dave Mustaine's interest in funny car racing. I would break it down, but the song is pretty self explanatory. And for those who don't know, drag races are on a quarter mile strip. 5,280 feet = 1 mile, divided by 4 = 1,320 feet (quarter mile). |

This song is basically about how the government or some other powerful organization has created a powerful biological weapon that basically destroys people from the inside out and turns them into homicidal/suicidal zombies. The music video for this song follows the account of one particular individual who happens to contract this particular disease, and has an antidote in his backpack, but uses it too late, resulting in him tearing out his own guts and then in turn having them eaten by a pair of bloodthirsty zombies. Pretty beastly song. |
