Ok, the song does have references to fight club, but I met ryan ross in real life, and he said he wrote this song about how his alcoholic father had to go to the hospital so much to get his stomach pumped. "regular decorated emergency" means that this emergency had a lot of melodramatic additions to it "on the linoleum floor" is because the cold floor feels good when youre drunk "can take the kid from the fight cant take the fight from the kid" is reffering to how ryan dealt with his fathers issues. |
