| yeah maybe it has to do with drugs, i think it blatantly says that whatever he did was affected by drugs in one way or another. to me, it is also clear that this song is about losing John N and Fred M. Perhaps the 'money where my mouth is' line is referring to his(Adam's) belief that he could do it without them..and now he is realizing that maybe he can't. i only think this because ive always had an image of adam in my head thinking he was alot better than he really was..and now he's lost two of his closest friends and best songwriters/guitarists because of his arrogance. but who knows..thats just what i get from the song. | |
