Foo Fighters – Wheels Lyrics 15 years ago
All this song really means, at least what it seems to me, is that he's just looking for a reason to be doing what he's doin. Makin millions, writing songs, living life. He wants something so valuable, so beautiful, most likely love. He want's something to strive for, cause after making all this money, he realizes fame and stardom isnt everything unless you have someone to share it with.

Jack Johnson – You and Your Heart Lyrics 15 years ago
I think that line "You and your heart shouldn't feel so far apart" means that you should do what feels right in your heart, no matter what the consequence or reprecussion is (Thus "Lost the fingernails on your hands" and just hope that the "Tide" will make all your mistakes irrelevant so you can live to the fullest.

Yea, I was wondering why it was under this guy. I prefer the original actually, but it's an amazing composition, it would have totally fit LotR, almost at the same level as Into the West

Nickelback – Gotta Be Somebody Lyrics 16 years ago
My favorite line is "You can't give up when you're looking for the diamond in the rough." Cause it's really true, there are so many people you will like, and who will like you, but relationship will be rough with them, and you have to keep on looking til you find the one that makes love easy.

I normally don't like Nickelback, but I really like this song and If Today Was Your Last Day

Train – Drops of Jupiter Lyrics 16 years ago
This is what this song seems to me:

The guy is still in their boring old childhood town, while the girl went out to find herself (Go to college, find out what she wants to do in life, find someone who loves her).
When all of a sudden she comes back from the "Milky Way" (The big city, all the bigger stuff in life), and the guy asks her how if she found what she was looking for, and how the world isnt as great sometimes as you hope it is, such as when it says "And that heaven is overrated" cause the new, bigger things for her could be like heaven, a new plane.

But he realises that she has learned so much from her journey, but she is still the same, and still just amazes him. He doesn't hate her, it's just a head over heels in love/friendship song.

When it says "She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo" makes it seem that the guy is amazed she does all these different things, and reminds him how he can still grow, and change himself.

Then with the last verse, about the fried chicken, it seems that he is asking her how she could live without her best friend(s).

And, the most powerful lines for last. When it talks about falling for a shooting star, without a permanent scar, it seems that when she went off, she found another man who seemed perfect, but he was just a shooting star, he was there for a bit, but then the love faded, he didn't have a permanent scar, which seems to mean he didn't have as much experience in life, he was untouched by the real world. And then "Did you miss me looking for yourself out there" which kinda explains itself, he is asking the girl straight up if he meant enough to her that if sometimes she just stopped and thought of him, missing him, he is asking her if he means that much to her.
