Funny I've always thought this song sounded a little sarcastic, or maybe being sung by somebody depressed/crazy that lost all the love he/she had believing it doesn't exist, but falls in love with somebody after a long period of time of not caring and loneliness, and starts feeling "strange" as he/she remembers how it's like to love again. That's what this song makes me think of because of it's quite depressive but beautiful melody, and because of Bellamy's really non-sentimental style of singing this song. Anyway, it seems the lyrics don't actually correspond with my little "theory" but never mind... |
