| Radiohead – Lotus Flower Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
i think it's about a narcissist. i want to be with you my heart is empty and that won't change. so, i'll set you free slowly, we let loose. all i want is to celebrate the impossible, i want the moon & the stars - just to see if i can get it. listen to your heart. we will do what we want as long as we're free, and i set you free. all i want is the impossible, just to see if i can get it. |

| The Cure – Plainsong Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think it's a conversation between 2 people. The girl is describing the weather in the first part, while at the same time describing how death may feel. The second part, she's talking about how time is passing, she's feeling old. Her smiles imply that death doesn't scare her. The last part is his reaction to what she's said. Her ease with death, makes him closer to it (living at the edge of the world). Then, she says he feels that way because that she's so comfortable with describing it. |

| LCD Soundsystem – Pow Pow Lyrics | 15 years ago |

i'm interested to hear other people's interpretation of this. i think he's talking about some major political issues here. i think he's definitely talking from a self-righteous viewpoint. i believe the "pow" reference are police gunshots. just my first thoughts when hearing it. |

| Faithless – Take The Long Way Home Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| he's found contentment with life, the universe, and everything. he's sharing what he's learned and how he learned to be that way- through being humble, compassionate, loving, and admiring the surroundings. he used to want proof for everything, now he accepts things for what they are. | |
| Faithless – Liontamer Lyrics | 15 years ago |

one of my fav faithless songs. mazi jazz is an amazing writer. sometimes people get caught in cycles that are unhealthy for them. once a cycle gets set into motion, it's hard to break - such as contempt. you have to learn to tame the beast "lion tamer". learn to live for the day. tomorrow comes and you can make it better than today. only when you learn to let go of the past is when you can live again. all this change comes from within you, not an outside source or from anyone else. |

| Roxy Music – If There Is Something Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| i LOVE these lyrics. i know i should love the original, but musically, it's a little to o bluegrass to me. i really enjoy the david bowie version in the movie "Flashbacks of a Fool" and I particularly like it slowed down, as it is in the movie. It gives a lot of emphasis on the lyrics and the instumentation in the music when it's slower. <3 it! | |
