I think this song is definately about marijuana. Broken arm is a metaphor for a broken bong, and he just doesnt want to be left with nothing to smoke with. "The price you pay for a pair in green" is obviously saying he wants to be high with this girl, but doesnt have money to get a new bong |

It seems to be more of a commentary on the leaders of America overall, not just president Bush. The Billy Joel reference above seems to be more along the lines of the vibe in my opinion. Its a battle cry in response to the general oppression of poor people in the one of the most prosperous regions of the world. Kind of like saying the leaders are killing their cause and country by ignoring the rising problems of the general population. |
