I think every line is pretty much a truncated version of a conversation you have with someone when you are in a bad relationship. For example, "Think of all the ways… you don't respect my feelings;" or "Every time you try… you mess things up." And they keep repeating, because people tend to say the same things over and over. Maybe every other stanza is a rebuttal? Not sure. Just a guess, but it fits pretty well. |
