I think this song is about a fire. I think the singer is trapped in a fire. "Light flickers in my room" referring to the light of the fire. "Planes flying by dropping down perfume" I think this means that firefighting planes are flying by dropping down perfume meaning the fire extinguishing powder. "Wander through the smoke" and "Choking on the air are pretty self-explanatory. "Scared animals trample over the bed" is talking about the animals scared of the fire trampling the bed and "siphoning out my will" I think means that seeing the animals run in fear drains his remaining hope of survival. To round it off i think they picked the title "June" because its in the dry part of the summer when most fires occur. This is my take. A true masterpiece. |
