Annie516's analysis isn't retarded. Distance yourselves! That was her interpretation, therefore it can't be wrong. If annie stopped at saying "this song is about his dick." then it would be questionable, but she backed up her analysis with what SHE thinks this song means, so by all means, it's correct. |

I think this song pretty much relates to Ionizes & Atomizes. I'm not sure about the "my name is you" part, but maybe he's saying that he's just like the person he's talking about. He's talking about the materialistic girl he's with; "you ask me what size it is, not what i sell" a girl that doesnt look at what he gives to her emotionally, but only cares about the materialistic aspect of the relationship. The "flies they all gather around me and you too" part is basically saying that due to the above, their relationship is doomed, soon to be over. But, perhaps he figures he made a mistake by leaving her when he says "i dont want you to be alone down there" "alone" being the keyword and "the devil's apprentice he gave me some credit, he fed me a line and i'll probably regret it" basically says that he regrets leaving her. Dunno, thats what I see. Maybe it's because i can relate to my interpretation quite literally. |
