I think this song is about someone who has lost someone close to them, but is afraid of folowing their path, and doesn't want to, however much it pains them. They're having trouble dealing with the fact that someone they loved so much is gone and is never coming back, but all the same, they have a will to go on, even though their dead loved one is calling out to them. how sad :( |

This song is so beautiful...I listen to it all the time, and every single time, I'm close to tears :'( I think its about a dude who had to watch all these people die, and there was this one beautiful 'lotus' who begged him to save her, but he couldn't, probably because he was duty-bound not to, even though he very much wished he could. He's trying to forget about this person. This person had probably been good to him in the past, and somehow she saved him from something. He's trying to talk to this person even though he knows his voice has little chance of reaching them, and if it does, they will think that he's a hypocrite for feeling bad after everything is over and there's no chance of saving them... This meaning is very crude, based on first impressions... |
