this song isnt about anything. i dont know. no song is about anything. but each song is whatever it is that bounds into these vacuous brains when we hear it. this song, indeed akron family itself, shifted my life, shifted the way my thoughts thought - the way my thoughts created more thoughts. to me this song is bliss, it is simplicity and sadness, it is ephemeral and frantic. its a life - birth love death and forever in 8 minutes. its a universe in and of itself. it makes me feel like a tornado and then as a boy sitting on a cliff watching the sun set and the clouds move and the time flow like a quiet magic. some magic that science music words and art are nets to never conquer but always sift. <3 akron and a shout out to ryan vanderhoof whose been claimed by some peace of mind. |
